Ramie yields a high-strength bast fibre, that is in the same family of plants as the common stinging nettle, and is now re-emerging as a sustainable textile fibre. Ramie has a similar structure to flax and is one of the stronger plant fibres.

Helpful Hints:

To be knitted using 2 or more threadguides. Knit on a 14 / 16 gauge. Hand wash in water 30^oC with neutral soap.
