Mohair

Mohair fibre is obtained from the fleece of the Angora goat. It has a similar diameter to sheep's wool but is smoother, stronger and more resiient. The goats produce staples 100 to 150mm long and 25 to 40 microns in diameter. The fineness depends on the age of the goat.
