Helpful Hints:
We recommend wet-finishing garments, using a two-stage scouring process.
The first scour at around 40oc will remove the oils , using 15 litres water to 1kg of goods. A detergent or other agent should be added up to 10% of the weight of goods to remove the oils. The wash cycle can be up to 5 minutes followed by draining and rinsing with clean water.
The second scour again at 40oc, using half the previous amount of detegent or other agent. Repeat the process if required. The garments may then be spun-dried and a fabric softener added to no more than 1% of garment weight.
Knit using 1 strand on a 5 gauge (Standard Gauge), being an oiled yarn knit on a high tension (8 - 9).
NEW - All colours available on smaller 250g cones for £12.50 each.
