Produced and made from 100% British sheep (Blue Faced Leicester), providing one of the softest wools that can be bred in the British climate, with a low carbon footprint and supporting British sheep farmers.

Blue face lustre fleece is soft, shiny, strong and it has long staples (25-26 microns). The fibres do not have scales on the surface like some other wools (scales are what make our skin itchy) making it soft enough to wear next to the skin. It spins, felts and dyes beautifully. Ecru is recommended for dying.
