A synthetic yarn mimicking the strand made from Raffia leaves.

Raffia is a type of palm tree where the leaves are rolled up into strands suitable for weaving. Common uses of Raffia leaf include twisted rope, woven hats & baskets and floor coverings. Raffia is watertight and flexible but where the actual leaf product will dry out, become brittle and change colour, this synthetic type will remain in its original state.

Made in Italy. 13.5 Nm. 50g cone = 675 metres.

Helpful Hints:

Use single strand on a 7 gauge machine. 30^oC Washable.
