Weaving

Weaving is the production of fabric by interlacing two sets of yarns so that they cross each other, normally at right angles, usually using a hand or power-operated loom. It is the process of combining warp and weft components to make a woven structure.

Most yarns can be used for either warp or welf, although stronger yarns tend to be prefered for the warp like cotton, hemp or linen.

Yarn WPI (wraps per inch).
