Terms and Conditions for the sale of products from Uppingham Yarns Ltd.
These terms and conditions apply to orders for productions via the website www.wools.co.uk, by post or telephone. For further clarification of these terms and conditions, or if in any doubt about a potential purchase please Contact Us in the first instance.

GUARANTEE: Products are guaranteed free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the time of delivery. The guarantee is not liable in respect of any defects arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, misuse or alteration.
RESTRICTIONS: Orders are dealt with in order of priority - determined in the case of electronic orders, by the date stamp on our form-to-email confirmation. We cannot accept responsibility for computer errors which result in order forms failing to reach us. Customers are requested to check they have received a confirmation by email within 3 days of placing an order and to assume their attempted submission of the order form was unsuccessful if this is not the case.
DISCLAIMER: Colour match cannot be guaranteed. The colour on your screen may not be the same as the colour of the product. Please contact us for a free sample if required.
CONFIRMATION: You should receive an automated confirmation of receipt for any email orders submitted via our online form. We will contact you as soon as possible to confirm the order and settle payments.
PAYMENT: Payment is either by Credit Card via our online facility or by post using a cheque or postal order to the address given in the invoice (also available on our Contact Us page). You will be charged the current displayed price for buying goods from our web site at the date you place your order.
UK DELIVERY: Delivery in the UK is subject to availability and normally occurs within 2-5 working days of receipt of payment. However, please allow up to 14 days for delivery. Next Day delivery orders must be received before 11:00am (GMT) for same day dispatch (subject to processing times). In the event of supply difficulties, we will contact you to offer you a full refund.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY: For all international deliveries, the total price at checkout will be net of UK VAT. However some countries may charge duties or taxes for parcels of a certain value. This cost will be paid by the receiver and the amount will depend on the destination country. This extra fee is out of our (Uppingham Yarns) hands and we are unable to quote what this amount may be when ordering from us. For more information please refer to your county's own import rules.
CANCELLATION/EXCHANGE/REFUND: If a product is found to be faulty, you should return it to us, giving reasons, and if possible we will issue a replacement. We regret we are unable to refund the cost of postage and cannot accept responsibility for goods lost in transit from you to us. All individual customers have the right to cancel any order within seven days of your contract with Uppingham Yarns Ltd., or seven days after receipt of the goods (whichever is the longer). If You choose to cancel your order you will have your payment returned and products must be returned to Uppingham Yarns at the address displayed above.

GENERAL: All matters concerning and incidental to any offer or agreement for the purchase and sale of goods from our web site shall be construed and governed according to English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction in all such matters. These terms and conditions do not in any way affect your statutory rights.

These have in common the deprivation of a persons liberty in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain. We as suppliers of product are opposed to such abuses and conform to the requirements of the Modern Slavery act 2015.
