Cashmere is the fine, soft and straight hair obtained from the neck region of the undercoat of the cashmere goat. It is very fine, typically no more than 18 microns. Staples are typically around 50mm long and very fine, which means they have relatively low tenacity.

Helpful Hints:

Knit using 3 strands on a 5 gauge (Standard Gauge), 2 strands on a 7/8gauge and 1 strand on a 12 gauge. Hand or low wool wash.
